What Can I Expect

Thought a luxury Solent Yacht Charter was only for the rich and famous? Well, think again as these experiences will see you sailing on the Solent on a skippered yacht on a half or full day excursion, with the option to enjoy lunch or dinner onboard too.

All experiences are operated as private charters for up to 10 passengers, so it’ll just be you, your guests and the crew onboard for these luxurious voyages setting sail from Lymington. Yachts available for charter are all ocean-going, luxury yachts between 40 and 50 feet long.

You and your private group will be welcomed onboard by your experienced skipper and crew, with a glass of Champagne to get your charter on the Solent off to the best possible start.

Having set sail, you are perfectly welcome to simply sit back and enjoy the sail, or 'have a go' as an active crew member onboard to help keep your luxury yacht on course. Your skipper will show you what needs to be done and point out all the landmarks and sights you’ll see as you sail the Solent.

We are offering half- and full-day private Solent yacht charters that include a two-course meal prepared onboard, served when your skipper drops anchor in a magnificent spot with the Isle of Wight as your backdrop. You can also opt to have lunch ashore on the full-day experiences. Absolute sailing bliss on the Solent onboard a superb ocean going luxury yacht, chartered just for you.

When Is It Available

• Weekdays and weekends between June and September
• Dates are subject to availability and weather conditions

Half Day

• Lunch Trip: Check in at 09:00 returning at 14:30
• Dinner Trip: Check in at 15:00 returning at 20:30

Full Day

• Check in at 09:30 returning at 17:30

Suitable For

• Suitable for all ages
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Access is rated as difficult for passengers with access needs
• Wheelchair users will need to be lifted on to the yacht and access to the toilets on board (these are located down steep steps) may be difficult for non-able bodied guests

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to enjoy the marina area, cafés and shoreline, but they cannot board the yacht
• Only booked participants may join the sailing experience

Anything Else

• Appropriate life jackets will be provided for small children (please state ages when booking your date)
• In advance of your trip, please confirm any special dietary requirements, including details of any allergies
• All sailing is subject to safe weather and sea conditions.
• Please wear soft-soled shoes and bring warm layers.
