Group Water Activities

Yes! These water-based experiences aimed at groups are ideal for gathering the whole family and doing something fun together. Whether it’s an idyllic day out on open seas on yacht, tackling some white water on a family rafting session, or exploring on a gorge walk, these activities are for grown ups and kids of all ages. 

If you want exclusive access to the activity, there will be a minimum number of participants required. This will vary from activity to activity, so please check the full details of each activity carefully. For example, a Thames charter speed boat seats up to 12, whilst a raft takes up to eight of you.

We’ve put these experiences together as they can all offer exclusivity for groups. That means it’ll just be you and your gang doing the activity, so it’s like a private party. Many of the centres featured here also offer small group shared sessions too. 

You might! You won’t if you go on a gentle punt on the River Cam, but it’s a dead cert you’ll be soaked if you hit the aqua park. And if you go on a gnarly white water rafting ride you’ll definitely get splashed. And there may even be a bit of spray involved on a sailing charter. Getting wet is definitely all part of the fun for many of the water activities for groups, but don’t worry, you’ll be kitted out in all the right gear, so you won’t be drenched in soggy clothes!

Of course! That’s the beauty of this section. We’ve made it super easy for you to organise a group outing to do something fab on or in the water. All you have to do is gather your friends, family or work colleagues together and then with just one voucher you’ve got it covered for your whole group. 

Check individual pages for all the details relating to that particular venue. In general there are toilet and changing facilities, with many offering a cafe or a restaurant and car parking. Quite often there are showers too and of course, all the gear you need and training/instruction is included in the price of the activity.
