What Can I Expect
Wonderful silversmithing experiences in the glorious Peak District! Spend the day at the purpose built workshop on the farm near Bakeswell, learn ho to be a silversmith and fashion your very own silver bowl and spoon. In the heart of the rolling Derbyshire countryside between Bakeswell and Matlock.
No previous experience is needed for these silversmithing day courses and anyone can get creative with metal.
Working with copper to make your bowl and spoon, you will soon discover how the metal moves, how to anneal it as coper naturally hardens when worked.
As well as working that metal with the help and coaching from the silversmithing team, there's lots of laughter, fun and anecdotes to accompany your day grafting.
By the end of your silversmithing experience in the Peak District, you will have handcrafted your very own copper bowl and spoon. These will then be silver plated for you and posted out to you to treasure and admire forever!

- Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
Spectators
- Guests are welcome to come along and watch, please make this known when making your booking
Anything Else
- Jeans, T-Shirt and jumper are recommended (no fleeces)
- Suitable sturdy foot wear should be worn ie Steel toe-capped boots or walking boots
- Jewellery should not be worn and long hair must be tied back
