What Can I Expect

The Robin Hood Experience - combining archery with axe throwing and crossbows at this, ‘Nottinghamshire's number one outdoor activity centre! Time to take up your bow and knock your arrows (with some exciting chucking of axes too).

Over the course of your two hours, you will take on each Robin Hood challenge in turn. For archery, you'll be taught how to handle the bow and the arrows and then given time to get some practice in. The instructors will be on hand to give you hints and tips on how to improve your aim (a lot of it is in the stance and being aware of where your elbow is!) as you shoot.

The crossbow masterclass takes it up a notch, showing you how to handle this impressive piece of kit, taking aim at a variety of target types.

Then there’s the axe throwing with some knife throwing added to the mix too. Again, you will be shown how to pick and handle the axes and knives, then taught how to throw them. You’ll have plenty of time to take on some fun challenges too.

These Robin Hood experiences in Nottinghamshire are available all year round on selected weekdays and weekends, with group sizes from four to 20 people. A great choice for families and friends, why not get a few of you together and see who's the hotshot of the tournament ground?
