What Can I Expect

Head to Nine Oaks vineyard for a guided tour and tasting! Visit the vines and taste the wines at this family-run winery at Horthfield near Ashford in Kent, with an option to add a sharing board to your experience too.

We love the ethos of the Nine Oaks team : “We are passionate about viticulture, the land we work and the wines we produce.” It is a truly independent business, committed to making small batch, estate grown wines to reflect the passion and love the family puts in.

On your visit you will be given the full tour. You’ll start by seeing where wines grow, with your host explaining which grape varieties are grown and why. They will also talk about the viticultural calendar and what happens in a year on this three-hectare vineyard.

You will also be shown where and how those sweet and juicy Kentish-grown grapes are harvested and turned into deliciously quaffable wines. There’s certainly a lot of hard work that goes into the whole process!

It’s great then to be able taste the wines actually produced on site. Nine Oaks prides itself on their flagship wines such as the Pinot Noir Rosé, the Bacchus, the Classic Cuvée and the Chardonnay.

If you fancy pairing your wines with some nibbles, we can highly recommend the voucher with a sharing plate included, with a choice of charcuterie and cheese, vegan or vegetarian.
