What Can I Expect
This is your invite to a murder mystery on Staffordshire's Churnet Valley Railway! It's all aboard the steam train for a spiffing evening of 1930s-themed murder mystery fun and intrigue, with dinner served onboard too.
It's the 1930s and Aubrey Heffington III is rather excited about his latest play. It's a spiffing production called ‘The Ghost Train' and it features the ravishing actress Lavinia Lamour. But before you can say ‘curtain's up', word comes through that there's been an accident…
How could this happen? Was it deliberate? Is it foul play? As passengers, you will be privy to what is really going on behind the scenes. Keep your eyes peeled, as not everyone is who they say they are. In fact, Aubrey, Lavinia or any of the cast and crew could be hiding a guilty secret.
All that thinking and sleuthing is hard work, so there's plenty of time for you to enjoy the three-course meal that will be served at your table in the first class dining coach of this beautiful steam train.
The whole evening is very much like stepping back in time, as you glide along the Churnet Valley line through the lovely Staffordshire countryside. But enough chitter chatter about the food and views, there's a murder to solve!
Your murder mystery train departs at 18:00 sharp. It's going to be a jolly good show and it'd be marvellous if you dressed up in your 30s glad rags for the event, but there's no obligation. Just make sure you bring your enquiring mind and observational skills to see if you can uncover the perpetrator or the heinous crime.
Book your tickets for the murder mystery train at Staffordshire's Churnet Valley now, as they're sure to be sell-out events!
