What Can I Expect

Escape the ordinary on a luxury yacht sailing the Solent and enjoying a meal onboard! Setting sail on a morning or afternoon experience from Lymington, this is yachting at its very best, hosted by an experienced skipper and crew.

The yachts operating these shared group charters for up to 10 guests are 40 to 50 feet long. As luxury, ocean-going yachts, they are fantastic to sail and boast superb facilities, including open-air saloon, below deck lounge and dining area with toilets too.

You and your fellow guests will gather at the Lymington Marina, ready to set sail along the estuary and out onto the Solent, the sheltered sea that separates the Isle of Wight from Hampshire’s mainland coast.

What’s fantastic about these sailing days is that, even with no previous sailing experience, you can join your skipper at the helm of the yacht, or just sit back, relax and lap up the luxurious feeling of being on a yacht on the open seas.

After a couple of hours of sailing, you’ll drop anchor. And with the Isle of Wight as your stunning backdrop, you'll gather on the sundeck for your two-course meal, which has been freshly prepped and cooked onboard in the galley kitchen.

If you fancy it, there’s usually time for you to have a dip and go for a refreshing swim in the Solent, before you set sail once again, on your return trip back to the marina at Lymington.

Operating throughout the summer months, these Solent sailing trips are a superb way to experience luxury yachting in Hampshire with a friendly and welcoming skipper and crew looking after you onboard.

• Dates are subject to availability and weather conditions

• Lunch Trip: Check in at 09:00 returning at 14:30
• Dinner Trip: Check in at 15:00 returning at 20:30

• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Access is rated as difficult for passengers with access needs
• Wheelchair users will need to be lifted on to the yacht and access to the toilets on board (these are located down steep steps) may be difficult for non-able bodied guests

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch your departure

• Appropriate life jackets will be provided for small children (please state ages when booking your date)
