What Can I Expect

Langstone Manor mega pods - where glamping goes BIG! Book a one, two or three night break for two in one of the very spacious and luxurious wooden pods at this lovely site in Devon.

Located right in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park, Langstone is a truly lovely place. Run by former dairy farmers Jane and David since 1999, the site has everything you need for a short break in Devon.

The Manor House has a restaurant with food available (opening times are seasonal). There’s also a reception, where you’ll meet the friendly Langstone team and can buy groceries and order fresh-baked bread for the morning.

The Mega Pods are great. Spacious and with a proper double bed, the pods have underfloor heating to keep your tootsies cosy, as well as their own toilet for your comfort and a well-equipped kitchenette for your convenience.

One of the favourite things for guests to do is use the BBQ outside the mega pod and spend a very pleasant evening just relaxing, cooking, chatting and generally reconnecting with yourself, loved ones and the environment around you.

If you’re feeling energetic, we highly recommend a little hike up to Pew Tor, the rock-clad peak boasting sweeping views, with the path directly accessible from the campsite. The views are definitely worth the effort!

When Is It Available

  • Available from March 21st to October 30th 2026
  • There is a minimum of 2 night booking at a weekend(Friday & Saturday)
  • A pet friendly pod is available at additional charge payable locally
  • Check in 15:00 and the latest check in time is 20:30. Check out time is 11:00 

Midweek Breaks

  • Special offer midweek breaks are valid for breaks between Sunday and Thursday (check-in Sunday, Monday or Tuesday)

  • Located in the Dartmoor National Park near Tavistock, Devon

Suitable For

  • Dogs are permitted from £5.00 each per night (maximum of 2)
  • All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
  • Up to two extra guests can be accommodated in mega pods for an additional charge of £10 per person per night

Anything Else

  • Your own camping equipment is needed, including your bedding (duvet, pillow, sheets, towels, cooking utensils, crockery etc)
