What Can I Expect
Junior off roading fun in Denbigh for anyone 10 years or older! A 45-minute experience driving a funky little 4x4 vehicle on off road terrain in North Wales is sure to put a big smile on their face.
Kids adore this experience. It’s exciting, confidence boosting and fun - especially if it’s been raining! It’s a great chance for youngsters who are a fair few years away from having a licence to get a taste of what driving off road is like.
This 180-acre country park at Lleweni is the perfect place for junior off roading. It’s all well away from public roads and there are some really nice slopes, dips and tracks for the kids to negotiate.
They will be at the wheel for the duration of their drive. All vehicles are dual-control so it’s all completely safe, but it’ll be your keen teen who will be selecting that gear to tackle that steep climb or steer along that axle-twisting rutted trail!
The off-roading instructors at Denbigh are all really good at coaching youngsters to go for it, whilst staying calm and focused. If only we had such cool experiences when we were young eh?
Perfect presents for kids aged 10 years or over, no previous driving experience is necessary. All teaching is done ‘in-car’, allowing junior drivers to discover the Denbigh off-roading course with the maximum amount of drive time.
When Is It Available
- Weekends and school holiday weekdays throughout the year
- Generally available between 09:00 and 16:30
- Sessions will continue in most weather conditions, but may be rescheduled in extreme weather

- Only 10 minutes from the A55 and approximately a 40 minute drive from Chester
Suitable For
- Recommended minimum age 10 and minimum height 4ft 8ins (142cms)
- Participants under 10 years old or below 4’8” (142cm) in height must be declared in advance
- A parent or guardian must complete registration on arrival for participants under 18

- Opportunities to take photos and videos at certain times of the experience from the viewing platform
