What Can I Expect

Go Gourmaze on a Sweet Escape treasure hunt in London! Fun, sociable and very tasty, these self-guided tours will see you solving the clues to be rewarded with sweet treats in the capital.

Working as a team using WhatsApp on your smartphone, you’ll embark on this Gourmaze walking tour exploring the West End from the vibrant Tottenham Court Road to the bustling Covent Garden.

Your virtual host General Tasty will leave a breadcrumb trail for you and your team to follow, but the General does have a tendency to talk in riddles, so be prepared to get your thinking caps on to earn your just desserts!

You’ve got the factor of the timer to take into account too. The timer will stop whilst you take a pause to devour your sweet goody at each of the three hidden stops. And whilst it’s not a race, you will post a final time which will allow you to see where you come on the Gourmaze leader board of intrepid hunters.

Described as a cross between an escape game and a treasure hunt, we think these experiences are great fun for all ages. You get to solve puzzles, explore London and eat tasty sweet things too.

The Gourmaze Sweet Escapes start at the Museum Tavern Pub and end in the heart of Covent Garden, a great place to carry on exploring.
