What Can I Expect

The Rickshaw Race Foodie Treasure Hunt by Gourmaze is the one for high-energy foodies! You and your team will become a (virtual) rickshaw crew as you take on the challenge of racing around Camden on foot on a food-lovers treasure hunt.

Your riddle-master virtual host for your mission will be tracking your every move, sending you puzzles to solve by WhatsApp and keeping the banter flowing as you work your way around this buzzing part of the capital.

Solving those clues will lead to your next location - and the treasure hunt includes food at three different stops. The race focuses on global cuisine from around the world and you will be tucking into a starter, a main and a dessert.

If you want to make it even more of a challenge, you can do two legs of the hunt against the clock, to see if you make it to the top of the Rickshaw Racers leaderboard. You’ll need to work fast as a team to get to the checkpoint as quickly as possible!

A bit like a cross between a ‘Race Across the World’,  an escape game and a tour, this fully immersive, fact-paced experience is ideal for small groups. It’s big on fun and laughs, with that competitive element and some great food from brilliant Camden eateries.

Suitable For

  • Vegetarian   and vegan option can be catered for
  • Participants must be at least 16 years old to join unaccompanied by an adult. Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult throughout the maze
  • Please note that the maze involves a considerable amount of walking, but all our routes are family-friendly. While children of all ages are welcome, the clues are designed for an adult audience. We recommend participants aged 10 and older to better engage in solving the riddles, with guidance from an adult

  • Seating guaranteed at stop 1, all others are weather protected
  • Please note: You do not get to ride a Rickshaw as part of this experience
