What Can I Expect
Welcome to our wonderful winter skydiving offer! Vouchers are for midweek tandem skydives from Dunkeswell Aerodrome in Devon, to be taken during the winter skydive season between 1st October and 30th March.
Clear, crisp skies and long sunsets. When you time it right, going skydiving in winter will reward you with incredible vistas and amazing colours. We can’t deny it’s going to be cold, but wrap up in layers and with your flying suit on, you’ll be cosy and more than ready.
This dropzone uses Super Cessna Caravan aircraft to transport you up high in the Devonshire skies. You’ll like the Caravan, as it’s spacious and there’s sure to be a sense of camaraderie amongst all you winter skydivers heading up together for your first taste of tandem jumping!
Once you reach around 7000ft, it’s time. Two-by-two you’ll be taking that leap. From this altitude, you can expect a good 15 seconds of truly awesome free fall. It’s an incredible feeling as the wind rushes past you.
If you can, take a moment to look around you. The views will be amazing. Like we said, nothing beats the clarity of those blues skies in winter and, with the sun rising and setting lower in the sky, you get those mesmerising sunrise and sunset glows in winter too.
These winter skydiving offers at Dunkeswell in Devon are great value for money, so pop a voucher in your basket and get ready to grab some freefall for less between October and the end of March!
