What Can I Expect

Ride the Cornish wave on a surf camp in Cornwall! These four-night surfing camps in Newquay are a great way to learn to surf and meet new buddies too.

You will spend five days at the exclusive surf camp, staying in canvas bell tents at night and surfing on the local beaches at Fistral and Towan in the daytime. 

This Cornish surfing and outdoor activity school is headed up by Jerrin and his team. They are all young, dynamic, experienced guides and coaches, who will have you out on the boards catching waves and having lots of fun.

All the gear to get you surfing is included, as is all the tuition. The surf camps have created the perfect mix of teaching time, chilling time and free time. The whole stay is hosted, so all you have to do is rock up and join in!

Continental camping breakfast is included every morning. At lunch time you'll have a break to explore all the fabulous cafes and restaurants in the Newquay area and in the evening you can head to a restaurant or enjoy classic campfire relaxing, with a pizza night on the first night and a special last supper organised at a restaurant overlooking Fistral beach for your last evening.

As we said, the whole ambiance of the camp is relaxed, so you can take time out to discover Newquay, or try another activity such as SUP, kayaking or coasteering. You can even use the material to practice surfing in your own time.

Anything Else

• If travelling solo you will share your bell tent with another participant (female/female, male/male)
• A full itinerary for each day will be provided once you have booked your date
• Sleeping bags available to rent £15 payable direct
• You are able to purchase your own drinks and snacks to take back to camp

Night One

• Pizza Night - You will purchase your own pizza from the local supermarket and cook this in the pizza over back at camp

Night Two

• BBQ Night - You will purchase your own BBQ food from the local supermarket and cook this back at camp

Night Three

• You will spend the evening in Newquay exploring the town where you will be able to find your own evening meal to enjoy

Night Four

• Final night is a booked table at a local restaurant overlooking Fistral Beach with your group
