What Can I Expect

Be naturally luscious on these lipstick making workshops! You’ll be shown how to make lipsticks using only natural ingredients on these fun and fascinating experiences in London.

You will be learning all about lipstick at the Token Studios in the archways of London Bridge. Workshops last around 90-minutes and within that time you will discover what goes into making a lipstick.

All the ingredients are actually edible, so there are no nasties in these lipsticks. It’s all about the recipe of natural oils, waxes, antioxidants and pigments. Used in different proportions, you’ll discover how the ingredients can change things like finish and texture of the lipstick.

At the start of the experience you’ll be able to pick a case for your lippy, decide on what shade you’d like to make and choose the finish (matt, nude or even metallic, for example).

You’ll then work on heating the carefully selected mix of ingredients to form your lipstick paste to be poured into the mould to create that classic lipstick shape.

Pop the stick from the mould and add to your hand-picked case and you’ve got yourself a bespoke, natural lipstick in your choice of colour and finish!

We think these lipstick making workshops are a great addition to a day out in London for small groups of BFFs - and you get to put that hand-crafted, all-natural lippy in your make up bag to take home! with you!
