What Can I Expect
It’s a game of snakes or lizards on these experiences in Bristol! Choose to meet the big snakes or the big lizards at this specialist reptile centre at Filton, just outside Bristol.
We are offering vouchers for 1.5-hour sessions with the big snakes or lizards, as well as full-day experiences, where you’ll spend five hours assisting the keepers who look after these amazing creatures.
If you like your big snakes, you’ll love these experiences. From pythons and boas, to anacondas and cobras, there’s nothing like getting up close to a big, long snake. They are pretty imposing and impressive!
Getting to handle the bigger snakes, you’ll find they are pretty hefty too. Did you know one of the world’s biggest snakes, the Green Anaconda, can grow up to seven metres long and weigh up to a massive 250kg? That’s quite something else.
And then there are the lizard residents at the Bristol reptile centre. They're quite an eclectic mix. From Geckos and Chameleons, you’ll get to meet them all.
We have to admit, we love the ‘monitors’. This is a certain group of lizard species that have a specific characteristic - they stretch their necks up high to be able to look around and ‘monitor’ their surroundings. It’s mad to watch.
Whether you go for the snakes or the lizards, the experience of the full-day with the keeper, we think you will love these snakes and lizard experiences. They’re big, imposing and make for awesome selfies! Isn’t it time you went nose to nostrils with a big snake or lizard?!
