Should I buy this experience?
Who it's for
If you love all those high-speed car-chase action scenes, a movie car drive is the one for you. Go for a classic muscle card drive if you adore those old-school throwback TV shows like Starsky & Hutch. Or bring it right up to to date when you take a modern American muscle car for a spin, to feel the full force of all that horsepower. Whichever car you choose it's going to be all about big engines, bold body styling and plenty of street cred!Who it's not for
If you're not a petrolhead, you probably won't be interested in flinging a big American car from the movies around the track. Some of these cars are vintage classics, so if you feel the need for absolute speed, you might be better off going for something from our Supercar experience range .Muscle and Movie Car FAQs

Are these the actual cars from the films?
Whilst they're not the actual cars that appeared in the films or TV shows, they are very convincing lookalikes. The originals are probably all treasured museum exhibits somewhere in the world, which means they probably don't get driven very much anyway. We think these experiences are much more fun!
What do you mean by 'muscle car'?
The term 'muscle car' was coined when American car manufacturers began to produce affordable, high-performance compact saloon cars. It all started with Ford bringing out the Mustang in 1964, which created this new class of car also called 'pony cars'. With big V8 engines and lots of power under the hood, the cars became synonymous with street and drag racing - and many are still produced today!
What sort of movie cars feature in your line up?
We've got lots of different cars that are instantly recognisable from films. By far the most popular are the cars that have featured in the Fast & Furious film franchise; from the seminal Nissan Skyline, to the classic Mk1 Escort. There are classics such as Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds and replica AC Cobras, a car that has featured in many movies over the years. Then there are the modern movie heroes like the Audi R8 from Iron Man, or the Porsche from Will Smith's Bad Boys. And no movie car collection would be complete without a James Bond Aston or two!
How fast do the cars go?
It depends which car you drive. The modern American muscle cars we've got go like the clappers, as you'd expect. Some of these movie cars are vintage classics, so they won't handle the track like a modern supercar, but they are totally nostalgic and great fun to drive. Just imagine cruising along in your 1967 Shelby Mustang or your 1969 Chevy Camaro - you're going to look very cool!
Do I need a driving licence to drive a movie or muscle car?
In most cases, yes. A full, manual driving licence is the norm for these experiences, but do check each individual page for full details of requirements, including any height or weight restrictions. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact us by 'phone, email or online chat.
Are all the cars in this section American?
Big, bold V8 muscle cars are the speciality of the American automotive industry, so yes, most of the cars are American in this line up. There are a few exceptions, like the Japanese drifting cars from Fast & Furious and a couple of other famous movie cars.
Do they really look the cars we've seen on the screen?
Yes! The guys and girls who run these track days are total car fans, so they have painstakingly re-created the finest motors from the small and big screen for you. Right down to the right type of alloy wheels and stunning replica coachwork, you'll properly feel the part when you drive a famous car doppelgänger!
What happens if I make the wrong choice of car when I buy the voucher?
If you buy a classic muscle car experience when all they want to do is slide round the track in a Toyota Supra like Brian O'Connor in Fast & Furious, don't worry. With intotheblue you can exchange or swap vouchers at any point during their validity period, so in essence, you can't get it wrong.
