It depends on the vehicle. Tractor driving is for kids as young as 8 years old. Classic cars, fire engines and HGVs are 10yrs+ and the diggers and military vehicles are from age 12. Make sure you look under the ‘Suitable for’ tab on each product page to check the minimum ages.

Yes. Children will need to be able to reach the pedals and, depending on the type of vehicle it is, could be anywhere from 135 to 142cm. All requirements are under the ‘Suitable for’ tab.

Yes! You’d think the kids spend most of the time stalling the engine, but actually they don’t. Many of the vehicles are automatic with driver aids, so they are fairly straightforward to get moving.

No. Lots of these vehicles are industry or farm machinery and they are quite different to driving a car, so having a licence or knowing how to drive a car is no real advantage and in fact, youngsters often get on better than adults who have been driving for years (and have picked up loads of bad habits!).

Yes, at all times (apart from the mini tanks which kids will be let loose solo in) there will be an expert instructor sitting in the passenger seat alongside the kids. It’s not unusual for some of the vehicles to be kitted out with dual control, making it safe and easy for the instructor to intervene if necessary.
