Want to win a wingwalk? Tell us why and you could be a wingwalker

Personally, we find walking up the steps to a nice Airbus 320 bad enough, so we can’t think why anyone in their right mind would want to voluntarily clamber up into a stand up harness on the top wing of a biplane, smile and wait for the plane to take off and zoom through the sky with you attached to the top.

But it seems the adrenaline junkies and aviation fans are a lot braver than we are, so you should be entering the very special Into the Blue win a wingwalk competition online right now and hurray the closing date is 5pm tonight the 23rd June!

The competition celebrates the close links between Into the Blue and sister company Air Displays International, which organises the Biggin Hill Air Fair and includes the famous wingwalking display team. All you have to do it head over to the Into the Blue Facebook page and tell us who you’d want to win a wingwalk for (if it’s not you) and why.

The one lucky (or mad) winner will be picked to actually go on a wingwalking display as the very brave wingwalker! May the force be with you. Oh no sorry, that was Skywalker, not Wingwalker.
