Sick of the General Election? Why not get away from it all…
Is it just us or has the build up for today’s General Election been going on for ages? We know it’s important and all that, but do really we have to watch more footage of all three boys incessantly shaking hands with ‘the ordinary folk’ and thanking them? Quite frankly we think it’s all a bit insipid and we’re seriously considering a little overnight break to get away from it all*.
Of course, most hotels have mahoosive flat screen TVs so you can’t get away from Brown, Cameron and Clegg, but we’ve found somewhere where no politician will ever find you – a teepee retreat in the middle of Wales. Perfect.
Each teepee is in a wonderfully isolated location and is fully kitted out with rugs, bed, a hamper of food and a wood burning stove. Oh and in case you’re wondering about hygiene, never fear there is a toilet and shower just next door.
We reckon this teepee retreat weekend is a quality way of getting away from wall-to-wall election madness. In fact, we might even go the whole hog and leave the mobile phone at home too!
* Our boss has asked us to point out that in the name of being responsible bloggers, we should remind you that it is good to vote and we should vote before running away to the Welsh hills. Ayethangyou.
