Forget the Olympic Games, here’s some proper fun to be had in London!
We’re guessing that like us, you didn’t get lucky in the great lottery for 2012 Olympic Games tickets. No need to be glum, we’ve got a whole host of new ways to have fun and see the sights in London. Forget getting sand in your toes at the Beach Volleyball or craning your neck watching the divers jump from the 10m diving board – it’s time for some serious fun, London style!
Recently added tours of London include the mega popular Harry Potter tour (think platform 9 3/4 and a whole lot more), the James Bond tour (shaken, not stirred obviously!) and the Beatles tour including THAT famous zebra crossing.
As well as Harry Potter, film fans can enjoy a special Notting Hill the film tour so you can have your photo taken outside that famous door too. Mystery lovers will feel drawn to the Sherlock Holmes tour. All of these London tours are by bus, so there’s no plodding the streets of central London for hours on end. You also get to step off the bus to explore and take photos are specific spots, so you’re not cooped all day either.
Combine these London bus tours with a bit of shopping, a few coffee stops and a spot of lunch and we think you’ve got a day out to rival any Olympic event!
