Easy tiger with that Easyglider!
Every now and again someone comes up with a rather madcap product idea. Sometimes they sink without trace after the fanfare launch (err…Sinclair C5 anyone?), sometimes there just isn’t room for all of them (Betamax vs VHS, then) but other times these ever-so-slightly eccentric inventions actually catch on and we’re wondering just what the world thinks of the Easyglider!
The Easyglider is a very simple, efficient and funky personal transporter dreamt up by a Swiss designer who wanted an easy and ecologically sound way to get around and have fun at the same time.
The result is the Easyglider X6 model, which pretty much looks like a big wheel with a hub casing in the middle which houses the electric motor. You can use the Easyglider to pull you along your skateboard or your rollers, or you can hook up the mini chariot attachment, either way, at unrestricted speeds these gadgets go at 20km/h and one charge lasts around an hour.
As well as the cool design, the Easyglider has some rather nifty features, such as the integrated speakers and docking station for your iPod so you can listen to come tunage whilst on the move. There are even built-in headlights, so you can still get out and about on your Easyglider after the sun has set.
So if this has tempted you to have a go at gliding on the Easyglider, Into the Blue is now selling Easyglider experiences and to celebrate this new activity, there is currently a two for one offer running, so you and a friend can go easygliding for the price of one.
